Additional Hours

Evening surgery 17:30 - 20:00 for pre-booked vaccinations and medication reviews only.
Appointments
Our Standard appointments are 15 minutes long. This compares with 5-10 minutes at many vets. We hope this will give clients time to ask questions, and feel comfortable with treatment options offered.
Home Visits
Home Visits are undertaken at the discretion of the vet. We will however always try to comply with an owner’s request. Where the patient seems unwell it is always preferable to see him/her in the clinic in case tests are appropriate. Please ask if you have transport difficulties, and we will try and help. Due to the requirement for a nurse to accompany the vet, and the fact that the vet will have pre-booked consultations and operations in the Clinic, we ask that owners be flexible wherever possible over timings for home visits.
Repeat Prescriptions
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to fulfil a request for a repeat prescription. This is because we must check our records to ensure that the issuing of a repeat prescription complies with current regulations. It also provides us with an opportunity to check that the medication is still appropriate for your cat.
In an emergency we may be able to issue a repeat prescription sooner, subject to compliance with current regulations and the availability of the medication. This service is offered at our discretion.
Should you require a repeat prescription for your cat we request that you contact the clinic by telephone. This allows us to confirm your details and determine if your cat needs to be seen by us before a repeat prescription can be issued.
Animals on long term medication must be seen every 3-6 months depending on the medical condition. We apply a reduced consultation charge of £39.95 for this service.
Cremation
As with any bereavement, the death of a much loved feline friend can be an enormous loss to its owner and many bereaved owners want a way of remembering their cat once it has passed away. Pet crematoriums offer bereaved owners a range of services including individual cremation, communal cremation, burial of the ashes or the return of the ashes to the owner.
Here at Just Cats we offer support to bereaved owners and we can help you to make the decision about the type of crematorium service you would like for your cat.
